Happy Monday peeps! I've been staring at this jacket all winter. I love it, and I kept wanting to wear it, but it just seems like such a spring/summer color that I left it in the closet, untouched. Until this past weekend, however. The temps were in the 70s, there was a cool breeze, and I had a Friday lunch date with my girls. It was the perfect day for some radiant orchid.

I bought the jacket last year on a whim. Who knew it would become the color of the year for 2014?! Not me. It may not be EXACTLY the shade Pantone features on their site, but it's pretty damn close I think.

How in the world are you able to get such amazing weather temps in February? I am so jealous. Lucky you. Your jacket is so adorable. It brightens up the day and gives your whole look an extra umph. I think you should wear it regardless of what day of the year it is. It should be celebrated and not hidden. Beautiful!
